We love questions!
This page was crafted from the most common questions we’ve received from clients over the years. Still have a question? Use the form below to reach us – we’ll respond within 4 working hours!
What services does your agency offer?
We manage and broker bookings for events, festivals, media campaigns, TV, radio, and web—only featuring celebrity, professional, or ‘big ticket’ options.
Why is the person so expensive?
We don’t set the artist's fee—the artist or their management does. We’ve prepared a cost guideline for all South African options to help you understand pricing.
What happens if I have a budget?
Let us know! We’re excellent at negotiating with artists to fit within your budget.
Can I pay you cash at the event?
Unfortunately, no. It poses a security risk and isn’t aligned with our financial policy.
Can you pencil in a date without an agreement or payment?
No. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, as talent must confirm bookings with paying clients.
Can I pay after the event?
We require pre-payment—normally 50% deposit, and balance due 1 month before the event. Confirmation notices are only issued once payment is received.
Do I have to continue working through your agency?
Yes, if you started with us. Our team is responsive, professional, and highly rated across the industry.
What is a LM / OLM?
LM = Logistics Manager. OLM = Onsite Logistics Manager. They oversee quality control and ensure everything runs smoothly on event day.
Do LMs / OLMs attend every event?
Yes, for most events they’re present at setup or artist arrival.
Are you a manager?
No. We don’t manage talent. We focus on exposure and bookings—not long-term career management.
Do artists bring sound or technical gear?
Usually not. This must be arranged at the venue, though we can quote if needed. All requirements are outlined in the artist’s rider.
Do I need to provide travel, meals, or accommodation?
Yes, unless the artist is local. Riders will specify all hospitality requirements.
Will artists stay longer after their performance?
No. Their duties end after their set/performance time.
What happens if I cancel?
Our cancellation terms are outlined in each agreement. Some changes (like date changes) are also accommodated.
Can I see a copy of your booking terms?
Of course. View our standard terms here.
What if an artist doesn’t arrive?
It’s never happened—but we’re covered. Agreements include legal and operational contingencies to protect you.
How long does it take to finalize a booking?
We reply within 4 working hours. Bookings can close within 1–2 weeks for events, or 1 month for media projects. See our booking process here.
How do I brief an artist?
Usually in two steps: a written brief and a program of events. Optional Zoom consults can also be arranged.
Can I meet the artist beforehand?
Meetings are quoted as extra consults. Written/online briefings are included and more efficient.
What time will artists arrive?
Usually 45–60 minutes before their performance. Our OLMs arrive even earlier to set up and assist.
